Mission Statement
Our mission is to convey glory and honor to the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To have the fullness of Him and His kingdom made visible in our private and public lives. We have, therefore, purposed to construct our worship for Him and Him alone. We believe that our worship should be for the celebration of the abundant life and endless love He has so graciously bestowed upon each of us. Our worship, teaching, music, and all other activities are structured to inspire praise and adoration of the One who died for us. It is our hope that all who come in among us might catch a glimpse of His awesome love and, therefore, be changed forever. Second, our mission is to transform our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ by establishing a church through relationships with God, one another, and our community. The church will gather the lost, worship in the Spirit, and celebrate the glory of Jesus Christ. We will be empowered with the Holy Spirit to participate in the Kingdom of God. We will care for one another through love and respect. We will train and teach all to serve within His kingdom. We will win people to Christ in our community and the world through missions, evangelism, service, and benevolence. We will be culturally relevant and clearly communicate the gospel in love, acceptance, and truth.
Vision Statement
To demonstrate Christ's love in specific ways, so that every person we meet will know they are IMPORTANT, LOVED, and WANTED, in Jesus' name. We seek to love God and worship Him with all of our hearts, to walk in integrity and godliness, to teach the Word of God with balance and depth, to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ enthusiastically and lovingly with our city and our world, and to build a community of mature, joyful believers who will be empowered to fulfill their God-ordained purpose and ministry.
It is our desire to:
- encourage personal salvation, baptism, growth, and worship
- encourage personal evangelistic outreach
- encourage personal development in the Christian lifestyle at home, work, recreation, and church
- encourage believers to have a world view of Christianity
- encourage each member's responsibility in giving and serving the body
- encourage each member to increase in Biblical knowledge, empowered prayer life, and strengthened relationships.
